Garden Tomato and Pepper Fried Chicken Pasta
Garden tomato and pepper fried chicken pasta is a quick and easy go-to recipe for the family that can have a fresh home cooked dinner on the table in under an hour. I used the fresh tomato sauce recipe https://briansirois.com/fresh-garden-tomato-sauce/ and combined it with spaghetti and a pre-cooked chicken fried chicken that I fried up in the air fryer. Topping these with a load of fresh basil and freshly grated parmesan ended up being a real crowd pleaser for the whole family.
This dish was one of those “what am I going to eat” last minute recipes that just came together after quick raid of the garden and freezer. Originally, I made this for myself when my family was out of town, then had to recreate it with a bit more love when they came back home. Even my son, who despises spaghetti for some reason but loves every other noodle didn’t put up too much of a fight once he tasted it.
So, if you’re looking for an easy recipe using some homemade ingredients and some quick and easy pre-prepared ingredients, this recipe is a solid one. Or if you aren’t in a time crunch, you can make some fresh pasta or bread up some fresh chicken cutlets and take this recipe to a different stratosphere.
Once your tomato sauce is made from the recipe above, boil up some pasta in heavily salted water, and fry up some chicken (the brand we used was Bare Chicken Chunks), chiffonade some basil, and grate some fresh parmesan and serve up another tasty dinner than even the pickiest eater should enjoy.
